EKC Gears up for its 2003 Season of Giving Campaign

Every Kid Counts Children's Charity sets to kick off its 2003 Season of Giving Campaign on November 3rd with the Coronado Industry's 2003 Winter Classic Toy Drive Kickoff Golf Tournament at Stonecreek Golf Club.

October 3, 2003 -- Tempe, Arizona, As Every Kid Counts Children's Charity, in their tenth year of operations, gears up for one of the busiest fall and winter month of the organizations history. 

Every Kid Counts has begun preparation for our 2003 Season of Giving Campaign across the state of Arizona. Last year our Campaign was a huge success.  Every Kid Counts and all of those who supported our efforts where able to help thousands of children and families across the state have a happier and healthier holiday season.

 

We are looking forward to helping even more children and families during this year’s campaign.  The following is an outline of our programs, as well as the companies and organizations that are involved.

 

  • November 3rd -The Season of Giving Campaign promotion will be kicked off with the 2003 Coronado Industries Winter Classic Tournament and Toy Drive at the beautiful Stonecreek Golf Club in Phoenix.

  • December 1st - Scottsdale Sunrise Kiwanis Club is sponsoring  a golf tournament at the Foothill Golf Resort to the Kickoff of the American Golf Corporation "Santa's Helper Program". (Golfers are invited to bring a friend and a toy and the friend plays free (A Savings of $65.00) from December 1st - 18th.)  In addition, Every Kid Counts is also partnering with other companies such as Alaskan Airlines, World Gyms, Advance PCH,  and many other local businesses.

  • December 7th - The brothers of Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity at NAU will again team up with Every Kid Counts for a Christmas Party that benefits children of single parent households.

  • Every Kid Counts has also committed to participate for the second straight year with the Arizona Diamondbacks organization for their Annual Angel Party. This event date has yet to be set.

  •  Every Kid Counts will also participate in a number of other seasonal events including a patient appreciation day at two valley offices of Preferred Chiropractic in Scottsdale and Tempe, EKC will host its annual invitational Christmas party and is slated to be the benefactor of a couple other events still in the planning stages. (Dates to be announced)

  • The beneficiaries of the campaign include the Thomas J. Pappas School for the homeless, Single Parents Association, Participating Boys & Girls Club, Crises Nursery, Ronald McDonald House, many individual families, childcare agencies, shelters and several other organizations throughout the state.

 

We are looking forward to the growth of this campaign this is why we are starting now verses waiting till October.  To make it even larger we are partnering up with more companies, organizations and individuals as well as media outlets.  Any support you can provide through time, toys, food, clothing and/or financial assistance.
