2021 Season of Giving Campaign

Every Kid Counts’ Season of Giving Campaign is in its 25th year providing Toys, Food, Clothing and Holiday Events for children of all ages throughout Arizona. This Program originally started with a special Christmas Party held in conjunction with the Single Parents Association of Greater Phoenix and the Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity at Arizona State University on Dec 6th, 1994. A special holiday party was put on for 33 children from single parent households
that included pairing kids up with a big brother, dinner and a visit from Santa Claus bearing gifts for all the kids in
attendance. The party was a magical event and continues to this day with the brothers of Phi Sigma Kappa at Northern Arizona University.

In November 1995, EKC began collecting toys to help support needy families throughout the Phoenix area, especially at the Thomas J Pappas School and for homeless kids thanks to the generosity and past support of Godaddy.com. Over the years this program has grown, thanks to the support our friends at Chase Bank, The Parsons Foundation, Level 3 Communication, Southwest Wealth Strategies and many small businesses throughout Arizona. It grew to a much greater level of donations, raising thousands of toys that enabled EKC to expand its support not only to the Papas School but many organizations and families throughout Arizona. EKC now supports the holidays for hundreds of kids at all nine schools of the Creighton Elementary School District, Military Families, Hospitals, Food Banks, Orphanages and many individual families through our Secret Santa Helper Program. Your company logo would be placed at the bottom of each poster affixed on each Toy Drop Box. Sponsorship is a minimum of a $500.00 contribution with an estimated 200 plus boxes to be delivered.

“Season of Giving” and annual Toy Drive: Starting in 1994, the first holiday party was hosted with the Arizona State University charter of Phi Sigma Kappa collaborating with the members of the Single Parents Association of Greater Phoenix. This event continues to flourish and now involves the same fraternity at Northern Arizona University.

In 1995, the first toy drive started and has grown into a season of giving where our organization is able to make the holiday special for hundreds of needy children from homeless, single-parent, military, adopted, and poor families.
